Tire Valves Introduction

Presta Valve
Presta valve is arrower and have built-in valve caps that you loosen to pump up the tire and tighten afterwards. Presta is more typically seen on higher-end bikes, especially those designed for road riding.
The Presta valve has a small diameter and is slightly more cumbersome to use, having a locknut instead of a spring to ensure closure.
未命名Special instruction for presta valve:
Must loosen locking knob before engaging with pump head. Tighten locking knob after pumping.

Schrader Valve
Schrader valve is wider than Presta, with a valve like those on car tires. Schrader is more robust, universally used, and have an easily removable core. This is most commonly found on inexpensive and mid-range bike.
Spring closure makes Schrader simpler to use. Only need to press the pump head onto it.

Dunlop Valves
Dunlop valve, (also called Woods valve or English valve) was once popular in Great Britain. They are still widely used on bicycle tires in many countries, especially on low to medium priced bicycles.
